Inglorious Bookworms will be reading “Lovecraft Country” by Matt Ruff in October. “A chimerical blend of magic, power, hope, and freedom that stretches across time, touching diverse members of one black family, Lovecraft Country is a devastating kaleidoscopic portrait of racism—the terrifying specter that continues to haunt us today.” The discussion will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25 in the library’s large meeting room. Copies of the book are available upon request at the library’s front desk. The book is also available as an ebook and audiobook on Libby and hoopla.
