Upper Sandusky Community Library will be offering a four-week Beginner’s American Sign Language course in January. 

Keith Falzone, a long-time sign language interpreter, will be sharing his expertise on the subject as well as teaching fundamentals of ASL. The classes will begin on Wednesday, Jan. 10 and continue every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. through Jan. 31. The topics covered include fingerspelling and numbers, cultural aspects of ASL, gender signs, color, time, vocabulary, and ASL sentence structure. 

The classes are open to all ages.

Does your device have you stumped? Tech Connect is here to help! Tech Connect is a program at the Upper Sandusky Community Library where staff assist patrons with their technology questions every Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Patrons should come prepared with their device (phone, tablet, laptop, etc.), a charge cord, and necessary usernames and passwords. While staff will try their best to answer questions and help the patron learn about their device, they are not professionals and may not be able to solve all problems or repair computer issues.
