Upper Sandusky Community Library will be offering a four-week Beginner’s American Sign Language course in January.
Keith Falzone, a long-time sign language interpreter, will be sharing his expertise on the subject as well as teaching fundamentals of ASL. The classes will begin on Wednesday, Jan. 10 and continue every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. through Jan. 31. The topics covered include fingerspelling and numbers, cultural aspects of ASL, gender signs, color, time, vocabulary, and ASL sentence structure.
The classes are open to all ages.
