Dinosaurs are invading the library in November . . . and there's something for everyone to enjoy!
The Upper Sandusky Community Library kicks off Dinovember at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4 with StoryWalk® Stomp, a special Dinovember edition of the beloved read-along walk through uptown. Kids and their parents will follow Miss Jill as she rides Dino the dinosaur and stops at businesses to read pages of an exciting dinosaur-themed book. You’ll also decorate cookies, go on an archeological dig, create a dinosaur craft, and hatch your own mini-dinosaur. Registration is required for StoryWalk® Stomp and begins Monday, Oct. 23.
Throughout the month of November children can challenge themselves with a weekly dinosaur scavenger hunt and dinosaur-themed books for you to read at home. The scavenger hunt changes weekly, so make sure to stop by to see what is new.
