The Upper Sandusky Community Library will host a reception for Cheryl Lyon on Friday, March 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Lyon began working part-time at the library when everything was recorded on paper and has seen the progression of computer technology as well as the addition of programming and events for all ages. She has worked in many areas of the library including the preparation of the daily cargo of books which are sent out to other libraries and other front desk duties and was instrumental in founding the What’s Cookin’ cookbook discussion group over 5 years ago. Lyon has recently been given the responsibility of planning adult programs and activities and enjoys searching out ideas for interesting and informative programs. The public is invited to join us in a celebration of her years of service.
