Due to staff shortages, the Upper Sandusky Community Library is temporarily adjusting its hours for the week of January 24.
The library will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24. On Tuesday, January 25, and Wednesday, January 26, the library's hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The library will return to its regular hours on Thursday, January 27.

Taste of the Town is an adult cooking program hosted by Patti Davidson of the Upper Sandusky Community Library. In January learn from Cheers2U owner Elaine Boes as she demonstrates how to make one of her favorite recipes.
Think you have what it takes to conquer the Reel Trivia Quizbowl? Then join Upper Sandusky Community Library staff as they present a trivia game for teens and adults featuring movie trivia from across the decades.
Join Wyandot County Public Health at 6 p.m. Jan. 12, in the Upper Sandusky Community Library’s large meeting room for a program that will educate attendees on all the ways the health department impacts the community.
Learn about the programs available to the community through the health department; meet staff members from the nursing, environmental, and administrative branches of the health department; and hear from a representative of the Wyandot County Health Board.
Do you have a favorite reading genre but no one to talk about it with? Then make way for the Inglorious Bookworms Book Club and choose your own reading adventure.
Each month the book club will feature a different genre that you can dive into or skip. So whether romance makes you swoon, science fiction takes you where no one has gone before, or mysteries have you donning a deerstalker hat, this book club is designed for your reading life. BookTalk, everyone’s favorite sharing time for readers, will meet at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 6. Join group discussion leader Krystal Smalley for a casual talk about books. No matter the subject or genre, all readers are welcome to talk about anything book related.

Are you looking for a way to get a leg up on your New Year’s reading resolutions? Then join the Upper Sandusky Community Library’s Snow Better Time to Read adult winter reading program.
Reading is its own reward, but if you sign up for Snow Better Time to Read you might win a prize, too. Simply sign up for the program at the front desk. Each time you check out library books, you will receive a snowflake surprise as well as an entry for the winter reading grand finale prize. Snow Better Time to Read runs from January 3 through February 12.
